Terms of service

Your account

You need an account to use Mevance, and you are responsible for what happens under it. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has access to it.

Plans and payment

• Paid plans are billed in advance, in US dollars, for the interval you chose. Prices are shown before you pay.
• You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the plan you have paid for runs to the end of its period.
• We do not charge for a renewal without telling you it is coming.
• If a payment fails we will say so and give you time to fix it before anything is restricted.

Your content is yours

What you write in Mevance belongs to you. We store and process it to run the product for you and for nothing else. You can export it or delete it whenever you like.

What the AI is and is not

The AI features comment on your own recorded work. They are assistance, not advice, and not a judgement of you or anyone else. Do not rely on them for employment decisions, and treat what they produce as a starting point that a person should check.

Fair use

Do not use Mevance to break the law, to store other people's personal data without a reason to, to attack the service, or to resell it as your own. We may suspend an account doing any of these, and will explain why.

Availability

We work to keep Mevance running and take backups, but we do not promise it will never be unavailable. For anything you cannot afford to lose, keep your own export.

Ending it

You can stop using Mevance and delete your account at any time. We may close an account that breaks these terms, or if we discontinue the service — in which case we will give you notice and time to export your data.

Liability

Mevance is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
